The importance of the spring industry and its sub-processes in the development of our country made us to design and set up a sizing rolling line for all kinds of steel flat bar in the direction of self-sufficiency and meeting domestic needs.
After obtaining the necessary permits from the Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade and with the cooperation of technical experts, the rolling sizing system with a capacity of 2500 tons was put into trial operation in 1401 and the trial productions were able to pass all tests and laboratory parameters.
The main equipment of this line includes a 400 ton hydraulic press, two preheated furnaces with a total capacity of 5.1 tons per hour, a three-roller rolling system equipped with a de-scaler with a pressure of 250 bar, and a final sizing press of 200 tons.
Creation of direct and stable employment, self-sufficiency from the import of spring steel flat bars with thickness less than 8 mm with high quality is one of the achievements of this project.
In the planned development plan and in the near future, with the launch of Stand No. 2, while increasing the production capacity, the variety of production sizes will also increase.
